Governance and Key Documents

New Routes Integration is a registered charity governed by a Board of Trustees who are responsible for setting the organisation’s strategic direction, ensuring good governance, and safeguarding our values, participants, staff and volunteers.

Our Trustees bring a diverse range of skills, experience, and lived understanding, and are supported by the Chief Executive and senior staff team. Together, we work to ensure that New Routes is well-run, financially responsible, and compliant with charity law and regulatory requirements.

Interested in Becoming a Trustee?

New Routes Integration is always keen to hear from people who share our values and want to help shape a fairer, more inclusive Norwich.

We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who:

  • Have lived experience of migration, asylum or displacement
  • Bring fundraising, financial, or income-generation experience
  • Have strategic, governance, or organisational leadership experience
  • Are committed to equity, inclusion, safeguarding and good governance

Our Board plays a vital role in setting strategic direction, supporting organisational resilience, and ensuring New Routes Integration remains values-led, accountable and impactful. We are committed to building a Board that reflects the communities we serve and brings a diversity of perspectives, skills and experiences.

You do not need prior trustee experience to apply, we offer induction, training and ongoing support. What matters most is your commitment, curiosity, and willingness to contribute.

If you are interested in joining our Board, or would like an informal conversation about what being a trustee involves, we would love to hear from you. Please contact our Chief Executive, Gee Cook at geecook@newroutes.org.uk.
