About Us
New Routes was established in 2004 as a small project addressing the integration needs of the first 30, isolated, dispersed asylum seekers in Norwich.
In 2024 we have 1,520 registered participants, and work with over 200 people per week. Our English class alone brings 90+ people through St Martin per session. We offer a practical, social, educational, advice, and health/ wellbeing based timetable.
We work in partnership to provide learning, training, volunteering and work placement opportunities. We showcase the contributions, skills, resilience, and stories of those that we work along side through participant voice projects, and large-scale public events such as Refugee Week Norwich.
