Our Vision
A culturally diverse and cohesive community where empowered and integrated individuals of all ethnicities can flourish.
Since 2004 we have been working with and supporting refugees, asylum seekers and isolated migrants, and promoting cross-cultural integration and community awareness in Norwich. We work with individuals and families from over 80 countries, speaking 60+ different languages.

A culturally diverse and cohesive community where empowered and integrated individuals of all ethnicities can flourish.
Welcoming – to be friendly and welcoming to our participants, and also to our volunteers, our partners, our donors and to each other.
Responsive – to be proactive, positive and prompt in responding to the needs of our participants, and also to our volunteers, our partners, our donors and to each other.
Resilient – To ensure that New Routes Integration is a flexible, strong and sustainable organisation that our participants can rely on and which is able to cope with external changes and challenges, so that our participants can also gain strength and resilience from us.
To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.
To develop the capacity and skills of the disadvantaged minority ethnic individuals and communities of Norwich to support the fulfilment of potential and enable active involvement in society.
To contribute towards social and racial cohesion by building positive images and new connections among people of different backgrounds; thereby integrating marginalised people into the wider community.
Our directors are from various backgrounds and they give their time voluntarily and ensure that this organisation is run effectively and efficiently.
New Routes works closely with partner organisations and our funders to ensure the best support for our participants.
