Raising funds for Refugee Week Norwich
This year, in a difficult funding climate, we are raising funds for the running costs of Refugee Week Norwich itself.
As we begin to promote the events programme our usual funding funding is (as yet) unconfirmed. However, we felt it important to continue with what we have been building up – to celebrate, platform, encourage and include the stories, experiences, and people who are our new community members – refugees, asylum seekers, and isolated migrants. In a challenging social, political and global climate we feel it’s imperative to champion the integration sector and the work we do, together with our participants and the local community too.
