Mentoring & Befriending
New Routes engages with local workplaces to recruit mentors who will provide one-to-one supported work experience or career guidance to recently settled refugees in Norwich.
English Classes
Tuesdays & Thursdays
11am - 1pm
The project helps recently settled ethnic minority individuals to develop the skills and knowledge needed for integration, by encouraging cross- cultural dialogue, English support classes and social activities in an informal, friendly environment.
Women’s-only English Classes
Mondays
10.00am - 1.00pm
The Women’s-only English class is a weekly space for women to gather to learn English and make new friends in Norwich.
Women’s Dance Fitness Class
Wednesdays, 1:30-2:30pm
Women of all ages and nationalities are welcome at our bi-weekly NIA dance fitness classes, led by a former New Routes participant.
Talk & Make
Tuesdays
1-3pm
Women come together and share diverse craft techniques while developing English conversation skills.
Sexual health and relationships workshops
Sexual health and relationships workshops for men and women that are culturally sensitive and designed to address areas of potential misunderstanding.
