1st October 2024
A new computer room, is now open at The New Routes FREE Shop (Catherine Wheel Opening, NR3 3BQ), during FREE Shop hours (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 10.30 – 2.30), offers several computers, a printer, and friendly New Routes staff on hand to help.
Just walk-in, or book help from:

- Shop Coordinator, Safuat: 07818968434 / shop@newroutes.org.uk

“We have implemented free Wi-Fi at the shop, providing participants with essential access to the internet for learning and staying connected with their loved ones. Over time, the need for a computer room arose to address additional needs, such as:
– Printing or writing letters to send to relevant authorities like the council or the Home Office, as the high cost of printing is a burden due to participants’ limited income.
– The urgent need to search for housing or work, where we provide a suitable environment, equipment, and as much technical support as possible.
We have assisted many participants facing challenges in finding housing or employment. The Computer Room operates on the same days the shop is open, offering these services to everyone, including some participants referred by Mark (New Routes Adult Support Advisor) for assistance.“
The FREE Shop / Computer Room can be found at: Catherine Wheel Opening, NR3 3BQ. Find a map here!
