Appeal for new Trustees
7th August 2023
We are recruiting new Trustees!
We are looking for people able to bring energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the role, and who will broaden the diversity of thinking on our board.
Lived experience as a refugee, asylum seeker or migrant is preferred, in order to represent the communities that we serve. A commitment to the rights and welfare of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants, and to New Routes’ vision, mission, and values is essential, alongside a desire to use your skills and experience to make a difference for others. We are searching for someone with a strong personal commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, as well as an understanding and acceptance of legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of being a Trustee.
Please read the below Trustee Profile, outlining the statutory duties of a Trustee, knowledge, skills and understanding, and the minimum time commitments required.
We would especially love to hear from you if you have experience in:
- Advocacy
- Campaigning
- Income generation
- Business development
For more information, or an informal discussion, please contact: geecook@newroutes.org.uk
We look forward to hearing from you.
