Sam Apeh has been working in the third sector for 7 years and is experienced supporting vulnerable youth and adults in a front line and a management capacity. He brings with him the skills of uniquely understanding the needs of our client group and knowledge on governance and management. He currently works as a senior manager with Age UK Norwich.
Dr Robert Manning
Robert has been involved with New Routes since 2009, starting as a volunteer before becoming a trustee. He currently works at the University of East Anglia as a Tutor having previously worked as a Performance Analyst and Project Co-ordinator. He is passionate about improving the services offered to asylum seekers and refugees in the region and increasing cultural awareness in the wider community.
Pernille was born in the UK to a Danish mother and has lived and worked in Japan, the USA and France. After gaining experience in global marketing, strategy and HR, she now runs her own business providing cross cultural training and consulting across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Vince has recently retired from a 35-year career in IT, where he worked in the UK, Spain and the USA. For the last 20 years, he worked at IT- or Programme Director level, mainly in the financial services industry. Before becoming treasurer, Vince volunteered for three years as a mentor with New Routes.
Anne has recently retired from a career as a nurse and health visitor in the Norfolk community; for the last 10 years, she was a specialist nurse working with asylum seekers and refugees in Norwich. Her trusteeship at New Routes enables Anne to continue to offer support to this group and to work to improve the welcome that new arrivals receive in the city.
